About Mohamed Jourfi.

I'm Mohamed Jourfi (also written Jourfi Mohamed), an AI engineer and MSc Artificial Intelligence student at ECE Paris. In December 2023, as a student, I founded DAKAEi Technologies, a generative AI startup, where I build the products as CTO alongside my studies.

At DAKAEi I designed and built DarijaGPT, an AI travel super app for tourists in Morocco (trip planning with AI, learning Darija) available on the web, the App Store and Google Play, and DAKAEi AI, an AI agents platform that reached 26,000+ monthly visits and processed 30 billion tokens in one year. I also created Xyla, a voice agent that answers from documents with RAG and tool calling, and built Xyla Bot, a 3D-printed robot that runs it on a Raspberry Pi 5. I also led the engineering team.

Before that, as an intern at Robotum Bilişim in Ankara, I designed an assistant robot on Raspberry Pi 5 with a real-time voice pipeline, and ran the team's first on-device LLM experiment with Llama 3.2 3B.

I'm now doing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at ECE Paris (2025 to 2027), after a BSc in Software Engineering at OSTIM Technical University in Ankara. I'm looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship from February 2027 in the Paris area, in generative AI, AI agents or full stack AI.

Why an internship? The end-of-studies internship completes my MSc. After building AI products in a small team, I want to learn how a larger engineering team ships AI at scale.

Outside work: robotics, embedded systems, and building AI products.
